J. A. Hunter currently serves as the pastor of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Waverly and co-owner of The Front Porch Bookstore. He holds a BS and MA in Theology and Ministry from Welch College, an MDiv from Welch Divinity School, a ThM in Ancient Languages and Cultures from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, a Graduate Certificate in Semitic Languages from Denver Seminary, and is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in archaeology at Lipscomb University’s Lanier Center (way too much schooling!).
